Browsing Super Cepat dan Hemat Dengan Lynx

Apa itu lynx? dan kenapa bisa browsing lebih cepat dan hemat menggunakan lynx??

Buat para linuxer mungkin sudah tidak asing lagi dengan lynx, yaitu sebuah browser yang berbasis real text only.

Lynx 2.8.5rel.1 merupakan browser text yang sangat stabil, cepat, aman dan fleksibel. Dan Saya yakin lynx merupakan browser tercepat yang pernah ada, mengalahkan browser - browser terkenal seperti FireFox, Opera, dan IE

Lynx adalah browser dan teks standar yang mutlak harus dimiliki oleh seorang web designer. Lynx membantu untuk memeriksa aksesibilitas situs Web mereka, dan walaupun sudah banyak alternatif browser yang berbasis text yang muncul,tetapi Lynx masih merupakan titik acuan.

Langkah - langkah penginstalan dan konfigurasi :

1. Download lynx_setup-2.8.5rel-1_2.zip, extract dan kemudian install lynx_setup-2.8.5rel-1.exe, setelah proses installasi selesai,

2. Jalankan Lynx Browser pada dekstop, atau pada Start Menu | All Program | Lynx Browser. ketika Anda buka, akan terlihat seperti di bawah ini:

4. Untuk membuka suatu website, tekan tombol "g" pada keyboard, ini memberikan intuksi sortcut "GO TO" yakni perintah lynx yang akan membuka sebuah halaman web. Jadi setelah Anda menekan tombol "g" di keyboard, akan muncul tulisan URL to open, masukan saja website yang ingin Anda buka> (sebagai contoh Saya akan membuka http://www.hyde666.cn). klik gambar di bawah untuk membesarkan ukuran gambar

6. Untuk memindahkan kursor dengan menggunakan panah ke atas dan ke bawah, panah arah kiri untk back ke halaman sebelumnya, berikut ini merupakan arti warna pada halaman lynx:

Hijau = Hyper Link
Biru = Judul halaman
Brown-Green = Teks
